EPISODE 2: Tips to learn English at home!

بِشَكلٍ عَفَوِي وغَير مُنَظَّم إِنْطَلَقَت الإحتجاجات الشَعبِيَة في سوريا في شهر ثَلَاثَة من سنة 2011.
بدأت بعد اعتقال النِظام عِدَّة أطفال من مدينة درعا.
وبعد هذه الحادثة بدأت المدن بالاحتجاج مَدِينَةً تِلوَ الأُخْرَى.
بدَأ النظام مباشرةً باستخدام السلاح ضد المدنيين مِمَّا أَدَّى إلى القَتْل.
الشرارة أَصْبَحت أقوى يومًا بعد يوم. إلى أن بَدَأ الشعب بإستخدام السلاح ضد النظام.
تطورت الأمور بسرعة وأصبح السلاح موجودًا في كل مكان.
ولكن النظام أَصَرَّ على البقاء وارتكب أروع المجازر وأبشعها بحق المدنيين وخاصةً الأطفال والنساء مثل (مجزرة الحولة).
لم تكن فقط هذه المجازر الجريمة الوحيدة للنظام, بل إن السجون قد إمتلأت بالأبرياء الذين تعرضوا لشتَّى أنواع العذاب والقهر مثل (سجن صيدنايا)
بعد ذلك, تَجَرَّأ النظام على إستخدام أسلحة محَرَّمَة دُوَلِيًا وآخر هذه الأسلحة كانت السلاح الكيماوي الذي تم إستخدامه في مدينة الغوطة في وسط صمت دُوَلِي.
بالإضافِة إلى ذلك, تَدخلت العديد من الدول مِثل رُوسْيَا وحِزْب الله بلُبْنَان وإيران لمساعدة هذا النظام الغَاشِم. 
ضعفت المعارضة كثيرًا وخاصةً في سنة 2016 بسبب هذه القوة الفتاكة من الدول المعاونة للأسد واستخدام الأسلحة المحرمة دوليًا.
وأصبحت مدينة إدلب الملجأ الوحيد للمعارضين.
ومِن سنة 2016 حَتَّى سنة 2024 كَانت المعارضة لا تزال تقوم ببعض العمليات البسِيطَة ضد النِظَام, وبالمقابل كَان القَصْفُ مُسْتَمِرًا مِن النِظَام على مدينة إِدْلِب.
في سنة 2024 وبنِهَايِة شَهر نُوفَمْبَر, بدأت المُعَارَضَة بالهجوم والتقدم مِن جَدِيد على النِظَام ولكن بقوة أكبر بكثير من الماضي.
بالمقابل, كان النِظَام في أَضْعَف أَحوالِه لأنَّ مُعَاوِنِيه بَاتُوا مَشْغُولِينَ فِي الحُرُوب المُجَاوِرَة لِسُورْيَا. 
شاء الأسد أن يَبْقَى ويستمر بالاستبداد ولكن مشيئة الله فوق كل شيء ومن ثم إرادة الشعب الذي لطالما حلم بالحرية لأكثر من خمسين سنة وحاول جاهدًا الوصول إليها.
وبالنهاية, سَقَط الأسد و بقيت سوريا!

Welcome English learners! Today we’re continuing the conversation between Jennifer and James. In the last episode, James had just met Jennifer while he was walking in the park. Her dog had fetched a ball and had come close to him. Jennifer was in the middle of telling him why she started dog sitting for her friend. Listen to the story in this episode to grow your vocabulary and listening skills. Enjoy!
“I was having coffee with my friend, Sarah, and we were talking about how difficult it is to live up to the standards of being a “modern woman.” Jennifer started her story.
“Oh, that sounds like an interesting conversation…” James responded. “I’ve always felt like it must be almost impossible for women to balance career and family. Especially single women.”
“Well, yeah, that’s what we were saying to each other. There’s a lot of pressure on women to be “independent,” as if they don’t need men in their lives. I think marriage and family are great and I hate the stigma that is sometimes given to housewives in our society.”
“That’s an interesting perspective to hear from a woman.” James replied. “You wouldn’t know that based on what you see in the media.”
“Exactly. Anyways, Sarah is married, so she and her husband are taking a trip this weekend. She works as an accountant, so she stays busy, but she wants to have kids, too. That’s why we were talking about “modern women.” Anyhow, I offered to watch their dog for the weekend, so here I am!” Jennifer explained.
“I see. That’s nice of you to do for her!” James appreciated this small act Jennifer was doing for her friend. He wanted to learn more about her, but she had a question for him.
“So, what brings you out to the park on a Saturday morning?” Jennifer inquired.
“I like to go for a walk when I’m thinking about something.” James told her.
“Ah, ok. So, can I ask what’s on your mind?” Sarah asked with an inquisitive look on her face. 
James was more than happy to tell her.

El Aguacate Mexicano.

México es el primer productor mundial con un volumen de 2 millones 29 mil toneladas de aguacate en 2017.

Las entidades con mayor volumen de cosecha son: Michoacán, Jalisco, México, Nayarit y Morelos, en conjunto suman 95% de la producción total del país.

El 82.7% del valor de la producción nacional del fruto corresponde a Michoacán, sin embargo, Jalisco y el Estado de México mostraron un gran dinamismo en el volumen.

De acuerdo con datos del Servicio de Información Agroalimentaria y Pesquera (SIAP), las características geográficas adecuadas para la producción del aguacate son las siguientes:

Altitud: 1,600 a  2,200 msnmm.

Lluvia: 1,050 a 1,150 mm.

Temperatura: 15 a 19 grados centígrados.

Edafología: Suelo permeable y profundo, franco-arenoso sin calcáreos ni cloruros, pH de 6.0-7.5
