Listening Practice in Turkish -6 (B1 Level)

上次的考试小桃考得很好，题都做完了，得了第一名。 妈妈很高兴，所以给她做了很多好吃的，有鸡肉、鱼、蔬菜，还有她最爱吃的西红柿炒鸡蛋。妈妈说吃鸡蛋对身体好，有营养。 这个周末，哥哥生病了，因为天气太冷了。所以爸爸让他多喝热水，好好休息，不要喝茶。妈妈经常忘记东西，今天早上她找不到自己的手机了，小桃帮她在电脑旁边找到的。 哥哥比小桃大六岁，他很喜欢唱歌，也喜欢下象棋。他经常和朋友一起去唱歌。他唱歌唱得很好听。这个学期（semester），他们班来了一个新的英语老师，长得很漂亮，姓王，叫芳芳。 今天下班后，妈妈买了一些苹果，苹果两块五一斤，比昨天便宜。天气真冷，明天可能会下雪。妈妈让小桃多穿点衣服。哥哥就是衣服穿得太少才生病的。晚上，妈妈做了米饭、粥和白菜豆腐。妈妈说小桃吃得太少了，应该多吃一点。妈妈做饭做得很好吃，爸爸比妈妈做得更好吃。所以爸爸应该经常做饭。 听妈妈说，小桃的表哥有女朋友了，长着两个大眼睛，皮肤很白，非常爱笑，是个很好的女孩儿。表哥今年25岁了，在银行上班，长得也很帅，个子一米八，所以他们真是郎才女貌。 妈妈说他们每个星期都去电影院看电影，因为表哥的女朋友很喜欢看电影，很有意思，他们这个周末还想去。 这个星期天气很好，每天都是晴天，但是很冷。快过年了，爸妈每天都有很多事情要做，要买很多年货。虽然商店里的东西不便宜，但是质量还不错。妈妈给小桃买了一件外套，两百多，小桃很喜欢。 新年就要到了，小桃全家准备去广东旅游，因为广东是南方，很暖和，冬天有二十多度。他们已经定好了飞机票。 北京快要下雪了，时间过得真快，一年又要过去了，希望明年会更好！ 西红柿炒鸡蛋：scrambled eggs with tomatoes 营养：nutrition 表哥：cousin from mothers’ side 个子：height 年货：stocking 白菜豆腐：toufu with cabbage 就是。。。才：…. みなさん、こんにちは。お元気ですか。
日本は梅雨（つゆ）入りで、雨の日が続（つづ）いています。しかも、今日の東京は気温が19度と少し寒いです。でも、明日は29度まで気温が上がるみたいです。
この時期は、寒暖差（かんだんさ）が大きいので体調を崩（くず）す人がとても多いです。日本に住んでいるみなさん、どうぞお体ご自愛（じあい）ください。
さて、私がitalkiの日本語教師になって、もうすぐ三か月です。すごく楽しいです。毎日、まるで世界旅行（せかいりょこう）をしているみたいです。
Italkiの日本語教師としてとてもうれしいことは、最初は母国語（ぼこくご）の英語で会話していた（話していた）生徒さんと日本語メインで会話できるようになったことです。そして、みなさん、とても上手になっているんです。
これほんとうです。この情報を誰かと共有したいです。日本語学校だと、教師同士で対面で情報を共有できるのですが、残念です。なので、ここで伝えたいです。
私には子どもが二人います。高２の男の子と小4の女の子です。時々、彼らは私のレッスンを聞いています。そして、「えー、ジュンさん発音がよくなったね」とか、「ジェイソンさんが日本語を話していてびっくりしたわ」とか、「ジョルジアナさん、なんだか日本語がぺらぺらになったね」と　子どもからほめられると、私もとてもうれしいです。
また、「オウセイさん、就職うまくいったんだ。うれしいね」と生徒さんのうれしい情報を子供たちと共有して、喜んでいます。
そして、日本語を教えていてつくづく思うことは、日本語の動詞の活用は多すぎです。中国圏の生徒さんは本当に苦労しますね。
漢字も難しいですね。漢字圏でない生徒さんは、本当に大変だと思います。
でも、漢字には意味があります。漢字は表意文字です。なので、日本語を勉強する上で、漢字を覚えずにすませる方法は残念ながらありません。
私からのアドバイスは、漢字を覚える前に、カタカナをしっかり覚えていることです。これは日本の子供たちも同じです。そうすると、少し楽に漢字の勉強をスタートすることができます。
漢字の勉強、諦（あきら）めないでくださいね。応援（おうえん）しますから。そして私も漢字を覚えるのが苦手（にがて）です。最近はタイプすることが多いので、忘れている漢字も多いです。なので、私も皆さんと一緒に勉強します。
最後に、上級の学習者のみなさん、私のきびしい間違いの指摘にもめげずに、日々レッスンを受けてくれているみなさんには本当に感謝しています。
上級の学習者さん、語彙力（ごいりょく）を増（ふ）やすに努（つと）めてください。

On a Monday morning or after a night out with friends, staying focused in class can feel impossible. You yawn, your eyes feel tired and the desk starts to look increasingly attractive as a temporary bed of sorts. It’s time to reach out for some of your brain’s favourite attention and memory boosters and wake up again.

So before next Monday’s class – whether back home or in an EF school somewhere on the other side of the world – whip up a blueberry shake, drink a cup of coffee, eat some nuts or go nuts and eat a baked potato for lunch. Your brain and your teacher will thank you, trust us.

1. A strong cup of coffee

Every student knows that the local barista that makes that daily morning cup is their best friend. Coffee is really good for waking you up and keeping you focused for a short amount of time, but drink too much and you’ll feel jittery and ill.

2. A fruit shake

Preferably with super healthy blueberries and with natural sugars in the form of glucose, a fruit shake can provide a short-term memory boost in addition to vitamins and minerals that your whole body needs. Overdo it and you’re likely to feel tired soon after.

3. A handful of dark chocolate pieces and nuts

They’re as brain-boosting as anything (dark chocolate even has some caffeine) and they’re anti-ageing too.

4. Fish and baked potatoes for lunch

We know, we know – they’re not the most attractive items on the menu, but your brain loves both. Salmon and other fatty fish have loads of Omega-3 fats that boost memory and slow your brain’s decline as you age, while potatoes provide steady energy that your brain really needs (it takes up 20% of your body’s energy!)

5. Pumpkin seeds
They’re full of zinc, iron and minerals that help transport oxygen to the brain, and nerve cells to communicate and boost your brain power. A great cheap and healthy snack.
