遥远的森林里，住着一只凶猛强壮的老虎，小动物们都非常怕它。 有一天，它抓到了一只狐狸，狐狸说：“我是上天派下来做万兽之王的，如果你吃掉我，就会受到惩罚！如果你不信，就跟着我在森林里走一圈，看看动物们是不是见到我就害怕。”于是老虎便跟在狐狸后头走，它们每到一个地方，那里的动物都会吓得四处逃散。老虎见状就相信了狐狸说的话，但它并不知道动物们真正害怕的猛兽其实是自己。
