秋（あき）のスイーツビュッフェに行（い）ってきた

巷（ちまた）で流行（はや）りの生（なま）絞（しぼ）りモンブランも体験（たいけん）し、「いもくりなんきん」以外（いがい）には葡萄（ぶどう）を使（つか）ったスイーツもあって、葡萄が大好（だいす）きな私（わたし）としては大（だい）満足（まんぞく）のラインナップだった。
食（た）べ放題（ほうだい）だからたくさん食べようと思ったが、やはり「いもくりなんきん」。少し食べただけでお腹（なか）が膨（ふく）らみ、思（おも）っていた以上（いじょう）に食べられなかった・・・。もっと食べたかった気持ち（きも）がある一方（いっぽう）、苦（くる）しくて食べられない状況（じょうきょう）に悔（くや）しさがあったが、秋（あき）の味覚（みかく）を堪能（たんのう）できたことは素直（すなお）に嬉（うれ）しい。でももう当分（とうぶん）、「いもくりなんきん」は要（い）らない！

JAPÓN Y MÉXICO.

Los primeros contactos de amistad entre México y Japón se dieron con el naufragio del Galeón San Francisco frente a las costas de Iwawada (hoy Onjuku) en su camino de regreso de las Filipinas a la Nueva España el 30 de septiembre de 1609, cuando los tripulantes del galeón recibieron ayuda de la población de esa localidad japonesa. Gracias a esta acción, se salvaron 317 tripulantes, de 376 que viajaban en la nave. El gobernante japonés de la época, el shogún Tokugawa Ieyasu, ordenó a un ex marino inglés, William Adams, que facilitara a los novohispanos una nueva embarcación, que se llamó el San Buenaventura, en la que lograron retornar a la Nueva España casi un año después, el 23 de octubre de 1610.

Los primeros visitantes japoneses llegaron a México en 1610, en principio sólo acompañando a Rodrigo de Vivero en su viaje de retorno. En 1614, Hasekura Tsunenaga llegó a Acapulco con 60 samuráis y 130 comerciantes. 

Productos japoneses como textiles, biombos y objetos de arte llegaban esporádicamente a la Nueva España, transportados en el Galeón de Acapulco a Manila. Al igual que en otras naciones asiáticas, en Japón se extendió el uso de monedas de plata mexicana durante varios siglos. Asimismo, en 1732 fue publicado en la Ciudad de México un libro sobre el idioma japonés. 

 Los contactos oficiales reiniciarían hasta el siglo XIX después de la Restauración Meiji en Japón y de que México obtuviera su independencia.

En 1874 una comisión mexicana de astrónomos, encabezada por Francisco Díaz Covarrubias, viajó a Japón para observar el paso del planeta Venus por el círculo solar el 9 de diciembre y  a partir de esas observaciones, determinar las dimensiones reales del sistema solar. La Comisión presentó un largo y bien documentado reporte sobre sus observaciones astronómicas que recibió elogios de sus colegas estadounidenses, franceses y rusos. También produjeron un notable reporte sobre la situación económica, política y social de Japón...
