Through I view Narnia,I found some phrases about "rafter" which I don't understand such as "rafter to the next" and "rafter to rafter".The paragraph which has those phrases says that Polly explored her house's attic.That situation can not exist boat,so what mean is "rafter to rafter" in that situation?
