Why? I believe the focus here is 'Natale', so let's state it immediately, moreover 'trascorrere' is unusual and has a kind of 'technical feeeling', while the term we use for being glad with friends or family is 'passare del tempo'. (n1) or (n2) ? (n2) is adding a little emphasis to 'Natale' stating it clearly that it's a special day! and giving us a hint that you love that time of the year. (People give special names to things they love). (n3) is because keeping 'insieme' near the verb makes am immediate meaning of 'joyce of being together', that is not really triggered if you keep the words apart. Il verbo {vicino,insieme} a 'insieme' esprime il concetto di 'stare insieme' in modo piu` evocativo. Why do I write you in my not really good English?
