The upcoming TV show will follow a host show format where Baek Jong-won sits in and has a conversation with guests from different fields over a drink. It will be the first Netflix reality show centering on Korea’s alcoholic beverages, food, and culture. “Back Spirit” will be co-produced by the producers behind the food reality shows “House Cook Master Baek” and “Street Food Fighter,” which also starred Baek Jong-won as the host. Its release date has yet to be announced. Baek Jong-won is the CEO of the local food company, The Born Korea, which operates well-known chains such as Saemaeul Sikdang, Paik’s Coffee, Hanshin Pocha, and many more.
