To what extent do you agree with the following statement, “PC games are anti-social and violent, and their users are mindless nerds”?
I don’t quite agree with the aforementioned statement, because I think that PC games can be quite enjoyable. When I was a child, I used to play PC games a lot and only a few of them were violent in nature. My favourite was about a dolphin, which was very peaceful, and not at all violent like numerous games are made out to be. In fact, even certain violent PC games, tend to be very funny. For instance, I once played Street Fighter with my cousin, which made for a delightful experience.
Additionally, I don’t think all PC gamers are mindless nerds. In my humble opinion, PC games can contribute greatly to one's cerebral development because they entail a lot of strategic thinking on a gamer's part. However, I do agree with one thing, which is that PC gamers can end up becoming highly anti-social if they continuously game long hours. In conclusion, I realize that PC games can be exceedingly addictive, which is why one should be extremely careful about the number of hours they devote to their gaming escapades.
