“Usa la fuerza, pero no olvides limpiar el lado oscuro.” Funny saying in a bathroom, for any Star Wars fans. My question is, if they say “olvides” (YOU forget) why don’t they also say “Usas”? Why is it “Usa” and not “Usas la fuerza”?

A positive second person command uses the same form as the third person indicative. A negative second person command uses the second person subjunctive.
