When I was a teenager, there hadn’t been determined long-term goals in my mind. And I often felt like I wandered off in my life, at some point I even thought education was helpless to me. What do you think of that I wrote above, for grammar and fluency?

I would suggest: When I was a teenager, I hadn't decided on any long-term goals. I often felt directionless, and at times I questioned whether my education had even helped me at all.
