The sky has been a stubborn blanket of gray all week. This morning, Mom dashed out early. Turns out, she's lending a hand to my aunt after my uncle landed himself in the hospital. Apparently, a "fierce and unrelenting diarrhea," as Dad hilariously put it, has taken him down. I couldn't help but chuckle. Knowing Uncle, the self-proclaimed foodie who devours anything from insects to slithers, this isn’t too much of a surprise. Still, a speedy recovery is most important. Once he's back on his feet, I'll definitely be grilling him for details!
