Hi folks! How's it going?
I'd like to ask you about these sentences.
Are they natural? The ones with upfront specially. I'm sure that the sentences with 'honedt' are correct.
Can I be honest with you?
Can I be upfront with you?
I'm quite an honest person.
I'm quite a upfront person.
If they all are correct, is the a difference between 'honest' and 'upfront'?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers 🥂

Both sentences are correct. Upfront means you are blunt. You immediately get to your point. Whereas you can take forever to say something and still be honest. Both words mean you tell the truth.

Upfront = frank, direct
In the first sentence, honest means direct, frank.
In the second sentence, honest means truthful.

The last two are a little vague as ‘quite’ could be interpreted in various ways.
Neither adjective requires ‘person’ by the way.
