It’s an easy question for those who know the basics of macroeconomics. To calculate the inflation rate we have to know the CPI, which is the consumers price index. We have to subtract the CPI of the base year from the CPI of the current year then divide the result by the CPI of the base year. We then multiply to 100 the amount which results from this formula, and, finally we have the inflation rate of current year.
