My last visit to the USA I went (or - have been) to the United States twice, both visits were during my summer vacations. I like to go there because the visa is valid for up to 10 years. I don't need to apply again and again. As a citizen of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the visa application process is normally quite complex. The last trip was to Arizona with my mother. I enjoyed the wildlife in Arizona, for example, the saguaro cactus. It is native to the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, the Mexican state of Sonora, and the Whipple Mountains and Imperial County areas of California. When I was on the way from California to Arizona, I also saw them in California. The monsoon (not sure if monsoon is the right word for a rainy season in the USA) begins in June and runs until September each year. So I was lucky to see the desert turn green. A tarantula spider was on the ground. A doe delivered her fawn. Most impressive and unforgettable were the people there. The Catholic population in America continues to grow, especially in the Southwest, largely due to migration and immigration. When we visited San Xavier Del Bac, we could see the impact of Hispanic culture. Such as they dress the statues in real clothes, which is a Spanish custom, as explained by the Sister.
