Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing with reference to your advertisement that was posted on your hotel’s website for a summer job as a receptionist. I found myself fit enough for this position. The reason why I would like to apply for this job is that I am studying hotel management and as part of the course we have to gain some experience working in a hotel. In this letter I will try to explain why I will be suited for the job and what I am hoping to learn from it. I have been I have been studying hotel management for three years now. I have completed several courses on how to attend to customers and how to deal with difficult types of people. During these courses, I received positive feedback about my communication skills. I also suppose that I have some personal characteristics that are required from a receptionist. I have drive, ambition, I am a self-starter and good at working in a team.
