In the first two photos, you can see the beautiful scenery* of the streets in Beijing. The Chinese New Year is right /just around the corner, and people here are preparing for it, and to welcome the Winter Olympics, which open on February 4 and take place at the same time.
* ‘scenery’ usually refers to natural features of the landscape, rather than urban vistas
