It’s overcast today. My new semester has begun. Everyone is fine, nothing special worth mentioning. Back home, I learned a new story about the childhood of Queen Victoria. It was way different than the royal life I imagined. She was educated privately and had a very strict schedule for each day. Her handwritten scripts were art, they were heart-wrenchingly neat. Compared with hers, mine is pale in comparison, like transparently pale. Also, besides a regular and strict diet, even a cup of tea was counted as a treat. Temperance wasn’t only noble but also conducted to good health too. I was so naive to assume queens or kings were able to do whatever they like. Well, it seemed very unlikely to be that way.
