If I have some problem, I always try to imagine a worst. I ask myself - what worst can happen? I think about various scenario. Even the worst scenario is not so bad. There is always a way out. I just need to be focused and start thinking about solutions. This is the moment when true calm comes. Thinking of solution instead of a problem is my best way to reduce stress.
