مدرّس🌟 DAY 16/30: The 'SELF' Hindi Challenge 🌟
नमस्ते (Namaste)! 🙏
We are officially in the second half of our challenge! Now that we know how to talk about our work (Kaam), let's look at a beautiful word for when we want to take a step back, look around, and truly appreciate something.
Today’s Word: सुंदर (Sundar)
Meaning: Beautiful / Pretty
How to use it: "यह जगह बहुत सुंदर है।"
(Yeh jagah bahut sundar hai.)
"This place is very beautiful."
💡 TEACHER'S TIP: Unlike many adjectives in Hindi that change their endings based on gender (like Achha becoming Achhi), सुंदर (Sundar) is a wonderful exception! It stays exactly the same whether you are describing a male, a female, or an object.
"वह बहुत सुंदर है।"
(Vah bahut sundar hai.) = "He/She is very beautiful."
📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Think of something you find absolutely सुंदर—it could be a song, a language, a city you traveled to, or a piece of art.
Try writing a sentence in the comments using today's word. If you're feeling stuck, just write the name of the thing, and I will help you turn it into a gorgeous Hindi sentence! 👇
