Hello everyone,
I have a question about Italian pronouns and there is something confusing me.
Examples:
I saw him = L'ho visto
I helped him = L'ho aiutato
I gave him = Gli ho dato
I asked him = Gli ho chiesto
Why is it sometimes 'lo' and sometimes 'gli'?
I thought lo/la/li/le was only used for 'it' masc./fem. sing./plu.
...and he/she should be gli/le, rather than lo/la.
Thank you :)
