In the second sentence, because the verb "charge" comes directly after the subject "I," it seems like you mean you, the "I," are doing the charging, but what I think you mean is that the "I" becomes charged, thus enabling the emotions that provide strength. So, it would be better in the second sentence to write, "where I BECOME CHARGED with emotions..."
