The Tim じぁん!!!
It was sunny today. My plastic model arrived this morning. After school, I rushed home. On the heels of I kicked off my shoes, I stormed into my room and started to assemble it. So good it was "snap-fit" and all the parts came separated by color. Technically, I used a little help from my dad. He helped me deburr a few precision parts and gingerly cut off some extremely fragile parts which I wouldn’t dare to cut. Still, I could roughly say that I did the whole job on my own. All in all, it was a success and my dad was happy that I’d become capable of building precision models.

It was sunny today. My plastic model arrived this morning. After school, I rushed home. On the heels of that, I kicked off my shoes, I hurried into my room, and started to assemble it. [When one "storms" somewhere, she does so angrily. One "storms off", and it means he leaves angrily.] It's good that it was "snap-fit" and all the parts came separated by color. Technically, I used a little help from my dad. He helped me deburr [I didn't even know the word "deburr". :) It might be unusual technical jargon. Perhaps rephrase so more people will understand? Perhaps, "smooth the edges of it"?] a few precision parts and gingerly cut off some extremely fragile parts, which I wouldn’t dare to cut. Still, I could roughly/almost say that I did the whole job on my own. All in all, it was a success, and my dad was happy that I’d become capable of building precision models.
That looks like it was very difficult. :) As for the word "deburr", if other people who do this sort of thing know that word, then by all means keep using it. I'm just not familiar.

rushed home. On the heels of that, I kicked off my shoes, stormed into my room and
started to assemble it. It was so good that it was "snap-fit" and all the parts came in different color sections. Technically, I used a little help from my dad. He helped me
deburr a few precision parts and gingerly cut off some extremely fragile parts
which I wouldn’t dare to cut. Still, I could just about say that I did the whole
job on my own. All in all, it was a success and my dad is happy that I’ve become
capable of building precision models. (I think it is better with ‘is happy’ as it suggests he will let you do it again)
Looks great. Who is she?
