Can you please help me? I know the English words "sweatpants", "track pants", and "joggers", but a few days ago I saw in an English Course book the term "sport pants" = buzo (track suit). Is "sport pants" American or British that means "buzo"?

Tracksuit is used in British English, as well as the others. I've never heard buzo in English but it seems to be South American slang for a hoodie.

Most likely not American… I’ve never heard anybody use that word, unless if it’s from the south (I live in the Northeastern) or some type of old slang.

Does not sound like American.

"Buzo" is a Spanish word. One meaning is, at least in Peru, the whole "track suit". When we refer specifically to the pants, we say "pantalón de buzo". In, Colombia "buzo" is a kind of jersey, I think. Well I am sure now, because Tim is from England, Richemie Chery is from The US, and Profe José lives in the US, that you can't use "sport pants" as a synonym for"sweatpants" or the whole "tracksuit" Thanks for your answers.
