During that time, he was unable to shower properly and faced significant difficulties with everyday activities. While recovering, his teachers visited him because he was following an individualised education programme and could not attend school. After two months of bed rest, his muscles had weakened considerably, and he had to learn how to walk again. It was extremely difficult at his age. With the help of physiotherapy, he gradually regained his mobility. This experience reinforced his belief in the effectiveness of physiotherapy for patients who are motivated and committed to their recovery. His story also reminded me of my own hip injury. My doctor recommended surgery as well. Some doctors do not even give patients enough time to think about their options. Although surgery is necessary in many cases, I also believe that some unnecessary operations are performed.
