At the end of the launch/dinner they take a cake and put on a candle for every years they have on It, then, after blowing the candles, all the invitates eat a slice of cake and take a champagne glass while they wish Happy birthday to the celebrated.

In my country people usually plan a party in a restaurant or at home. At the end of the lunch/dinner they take a cake out and add to it one candle for each year they turn, then, after blowing the candles, all the guests eat a slice of cake and drink a champagne glass while they sing Happy birthday to the person celebrating their birthday.
