1. Dad, how do we get onto the plane? No worries, A bridge will connect the hallway to the door of the airplane when it is time to get onto the plane.

It's fine as it is, but you could also say:
No worries, a bridge will connect the gangway to the cabin door when it is time to get on the plane.
