مُعلم محترفChekhov’s plays are often described as plotless, quiet, or deceptively simple. I invite you to read them differently by paying attention to structure, recurring motifs, subtext, and what is not said, but is still present in the text. Together, we will explore plays such as Ivanov, The Seagull, Uncle Vanya, Three Sisters and The Cherry Orchard, focusing on dramatic structure and composition, themes, motifs and subtext and coming up with our answers of why Chekhov’s drama feels so close to real life.
You don’t need a literary background!
Lessons are conducted in Russian or English, depending on your preference. Check my teacher’s profile for more details!
