Catching COVID-19 was an incredibly exhausting and painful experience. It began with a mild headache, but the virus quickly took over my entire body. The worst part was the extreme fatigue and intense body aches. Every muscle felt bruised, making it difficult to even move in bed. I suffered from a high fever, severe chills, and a heavy chest. A persistent, dry cough kept me awake for nights. Eating became completely pointless because I lost my sense of taste and smell entirely; everything tasted like nothing. The physical pain was bad, but isolation was also mentally tough. Staying locked in one room and worrying about my health caused a lot of anxiety. It was a miserable experience.

The physical pain was bad, but the isolation was also mentally tough. Staying confined to one room and worrying about my health caused a lot of anxiety. It was a miserable experience.
Level C1. I also had covid in 2022, but I just felt a little sick.

This is very well written! I have contracted COVID-19 twice and I can empathise - it's no laughing matter!
I have made a few changes to make the passage flow a little more naturally. Let me know if you have any questions.
Incidentally, I visited Hyuga in Miyazaki last month - a lovely little town! Any relation?"
Catching COVID-19 was an incredibly exhausting and painful experience. It began with a mild headache, but the virus quickly took over my entire body. The worst part was the extreme fatigue and intense body aches. Every muscle felt bruised, as if I had just gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. I suffered from a high fever, severe chills, and a heavy chest. A persistent, dry cough kept me awake for several nights. Eating became completely pointless because I lost my sense of taste and smell entirely - everything was tasteless. As bad as the physical pain was, the isolation was equally tough mentally. Staying locked in one room and worrying about my health caused a lot of anxiety. To call the whole ordeal a miserable experience would be a massive understatement.
Use of analogy - "as if I had just gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson". A little comedic, might or might not be suitable depending on the context of the passage.
"Locked" - Sounds as if you were a prisoner. Consider "confined" as a more natural alternative.
"To call... would be (a massive understatement)" - Adds dramatic emphasis.
