Planning a journey for my child's birthday party is quite interesting, especially since I invited other four families to join this party. We had hung out before and enjoyed this kind of journey. We have many topics we can talk about and share. It is good for us to get together after some time.

Planning a journey for my child's birthday party is quite interesting, especially since I invited four other families to join this party. We have hung out before and enjoyed this kind of journey. We have many topics we can talk about and share. It is good for us to get together after some time.

Suggest "trip" in place of journey, but both work. Instead of "to join this party" it's simpler to just say "to join us."
