You open it, you buy it. What is the English on signs in stores that say if you open something, you need to buy it. You open it, you buy it??? Thanks

I don't think I've seen that before. I've seen a lot of "Once broken considered sold" though, especially when selling china or glassware.

And any lawyer will tell you that the sign that say ‘if you break it you’ve bought it’ can’t be enforced. Under contract law it’s considered an ‘invitation to treat’

I've never heard that one or seen it on a sign. But I have heard, "You break it, you bought it."
