Hi! Could you check the attached picture? There is a phrase "According to the ... concerned", I wonder if the word "concerned" can be replaced by another word, or is it a fixed collocation?
To write that sentence by myself, I actually used "It was said that....", is it equivalent to "According to the record concerned"? I guess no😨 "record" seems plays a complementary part in that sentence?🙏🙏🙏

The phrase sounds fairly formal and official, but doesn’t add a lot of meaning in this case.
You could also start with options like
According to records…
Records show that…
It’s recorded that…
And even if you omitted all mention of records, the existence of records would still be understood.

Or "according to the relevant documents".
On a different topic, if the Pope in 1300 told pilgrims traveling to Rome to stay on the left, I wonder why doesn't Italy drive on the left today?

According to the records in question...

It's not a fixed collocation, so other words could be used--basically any synonym of 'concerned'. "It is said that," is not equivalent . It sort of implies there is a legend or tradition, but not necessarily records. Other equivalent choices might be:
According to the:
records involved
relevant records
related records
pertinent records
