I’m from Japan. I ate pork with ginger sauce which is a popular Japanese traditional home made dish for dinner. I need shaved pork to make it. I live in the US. I think Americans don’t eat shaved meets because I can’t find them at American grocery stores. But many Asians live around my home and there are some Korean groceries and Japanese groceries. There are other foods and vegetables that I can buy only from them. So I can make Japanese dishes thanks to them.
