I am interested how do people memories new words? What about me? I write down new words on a sheet A4 when I read a book or watch a movie. How the sheet is filled I print it. Then I just read it every morning, because memory is the best in the morning. I spend on it about one hour. Every sheet is contained about five hundred words. I spend 1-2 month on the sheet. So I can memories about 500 words a month. How do you learn new words?

What type of words? For school in learning about items, we labeled them with the Spanish word, and cregular use of the words or phrases.
If you say 7 times, it goes to short term memory.
Hello all , I'm really bad at memorizing things so i try to relate them with something similar maybe in meaning or the way it sounds .It works out for me.
I don't memorize one word itself, I should take it with sentence or short paragraph. This is better way that I use it in my university.

Alex, the technique you've mentioned above are really useful and helpful. I've done something similar, however, I've applied it listening to songs in English and reading online texts. There is also an internet game in which you can practice. You watch a video clip and have to complete the gaps in its lyrics.
