What does RIP mean?
i have seen on Facebook that when a news is being shared, RIP is written in the title? What does it mean

Rest in Peace, which means that someone is dead. Popularly also used to say that something was killed by someone. Like RIP grammar, means his grammar was so wrong he killed it.

Whenever someone famous dies, and is on the news (Alan Rickman, famous actor for instance), you will see people say RIP Alan Rickman on Facebook.
It is used as a sign of affection for the person.
You will also see it on gravestones.
