"Finnegans Wake"...  xD
Nah, kidding, pretty much every literrature from the 18-19th century will suffice to provide you with an ample set of new, but not-so-fresh vocabulary (Dickens for example)

This is the question for me. I asked many native people for this.

Firstly people recommended me to search "Graded reader books"

but I downloaded that they are very simple. But I think my source www.english-online.at  and http://www.newsinlevels.com/ are better. I enjoyed reading it.

later asking again, some recommended me to search " young adult novels"

I am reading the Dead Ringer now. They are pretty difficult. I read one page for three days. every sentence has new word and I can't catch what writer says.

I asked a Univ. teacher for readers in the 10-15 age range. She told me following books:

- Narnia books by C. S. Lewis
- Prydian books by Lloyd Alexander (starting with The Book of Three)
- Harry Potter (7 books) by J. K. Rowling
- The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien
- The Education of Little Tree
- Johnny Tremain (about the American Revolution)
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
(the first 4 are all fantasy books with dragons and sorcerers, the next three are U.S./History)
- Anything by John Green (very popular right now)
- If you like vampire stories, the Twilight series is really good for language practice

A bit easier:
- Box Car Children (lots of books in the series)
- Magic Tree House (also lots of books)
- A Series of Unfortunate Events (also lots of books)
- Any Nancy Drew or Hardy Boys or Encyclopedia Brown books (mystery stories)

I am using Amazon app on my tablet. so I search all the books on Amazon.com. sometimes I search kindle on slickdeals.net for free ebooks. but I am not sufficient too. I always can't understand new words on movies.
