In my opinion, teacher should have patience towards students, some of them afraid of losing face when talking with teacher, espiecially Chinese students. Teacher should encourage students to talk more about themselves and help them to build confidence. This is very important. Hope it helps.

1-like to teach the language as well as the place where it is spoken

2-Encourage student learning with things they enjoy doing

3-Have patience to teach in different ways to different students, when necessary
