Puns are fun

pun (n): the humorous use of a word or phrase so as to emphasize or suggest its different meanings or applications, or the use of words that are alike or nearly alike in sound but different in meaning; a play on words.

1. The fattest knight at King Arthur's round table was Sir Cumference. He acquired his size from too much pi.

2. No matter how much you push the envelope, it'll still be stationery.

3. A dog gave birth to puppies near the road and was arrested for littering.

4. Two silk worms had a race. They ended up in a tie.

5. A hole has been found in the nudist camp wall. The police are looking into it.

6. Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

7. Why do we have noses that run and feet that smell?

8. There was the person who sent ten puns to friends with the hope that at least one of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.

9. A backward poet writes inverse.

10. The quickest way to get someone's attention is to no longer want it.
