مُعلم محترفI love the Chinese word 玩 wán
I love this word wán 玩 because I don't feel we have a real equivalent in English. The closest perhaps being "to hang out". it roughly translates as to play, but as in English but this is usually used only for children. " I invited my friend to come over and play". in Chinese, its also used for adults to mean "do something fun"
so when someone askes me 你想去玩吗? I always say yes! I want to go play!! haha

I would even say that it means generally "to have fun" in one way or another, I've heard a lot of times from Chinese speaking English "I will go to America to play", or "we will go to the park to play". When you ask them to play what game, they are completely confused, since there's no game. It happens because in Chinese they would say 我去美国玩,我们去公园玩, in a sence that "I will have fun in America, I will travel, go out and meet people". So the verb 玩 is a truly magical :D

And then there's 开玩笑, "start play smile".
Also, 玩 is even 更好玩 when you say 玩儿。
Okay, 我说完说玩。
