I love chocolate. So I'm curious !
I like chocolate bars that are about 72% cacao, but I want them sweetened. In short, I like "bittersweet" chocolate.
There are of course times when nothing will do but something nice and sweet and with not too strong a chocolate flavor, like a good old-fashioned Hershey bar (milk chocolate) with almonds.
I don't know if there are actually people who like unsweetened chocolate ("baker's chocolate" as we refer to it in the US). I don't like unsweetened chocolate at all.
One of the most delicious things I've ever had was a package of chocolate covered cacao nibs. That's right: chocolate-covered chocolate! A chocolate company in Somerville, MA makes them, but, unfortunately they are incredibly expensive and we don't buy them very often.
I like Excellence Dark Cocoa 99%, Excellence Mint, Excellence Orange Intense by Lindt and Sprüngli.
I was once given a box of dark chocolate truffle by Godiva Chocolatier. Man... it tastes heaven.
There was one kind of chocolate that makes me doze off. It was a box of bitter chocolate called Nama Chocolate by Royce. It has the aroma of the Hennessy and the subtle bitterness of cacao.
I'm not quite sure either I enjoyed it or dislike it.
