It would depend on the context. If someone was typing, made a mistake and then you corrected them, they might say "sorry, I hit the wrong button" if it was a typo instead of them actually not knowing how to say something. I would need more context to know for sure, though.

Well i don't k if is what im thinking... Here in México sometimes is like say "u mess with the wrong person" maybe could be that?...
