I've asked myself this question: "What are the most popular Polish songs which can help understanding Polish culture?" when I decided I need to record an episode of my podcast about Polish music. 

Previously I recorded one on Disco Polo but it was more like a satire because I think everyone treats Disco Polo more like a joke. 

This time it was supposed to show you Polish soul through old songs which were so darn good, generations after generations listened to them and memorized the lyrics. 

I chose 5 amazing Polish rock songs and told their story in the newest episode of Polski Daily podcast. Some of them were politically engaged, some just told a story of Polish reality in 80's. I enjoyed recording this episode and analyzing the lyrics because I have a huge sentiment for these songs.
