Talking about accents...(again!)
I have just read a post about the accents in Games of Thrones and I am also curious about Vikings (currently binge-watching the last season).
The cast from the series Vikings come from a lot of different countries. For example, the actor who plays Ragnar is Australian, the actor who plays Lagertha is Canadian, Rollo is British, Ivar is Danish,...
Do they speak with their native accent in the series or do they try to imitate the Scandinavian accent?
And, if they do try to copy the Norse accent, what do Scandinavians think about it? Do you think they sound convincing?
I’d love to hear your comments.
