I studied English with one interesting person, he don't only teach the language by the book, he like to suggest different topics on the lesson to discuss to improve student's speech skills. But also these topics are usually very curious to talk about! But I'm not good at creating topics, could you help me?
What topics do you prefer disscuss with your language teacher? Could you give me examples? Of course, I know things I'd like to talk about, I see many suggestions on the student's books too, but I'm looking forward to listen to your fresh ideas!!!
I've decided to not take normal courses in my city and start to take lessons with informal tutors here and write down my thoughts about something to keep the level (and improve). But I don't know on what field I want to consentrate.

I think your english level is pretty good congrats, keep improving it.
And well about your question I think that a good topic to talk about could it be "Movies", when you start sharing comments about your favorite movies or the kind of generes you like to watch your partner stars to say "Oh I like this one or that one", "Have you watched...." and you start comparing about scenes or discussing each other what did you like about the film.
Then you can start to talk about some releated with a movie, I mean another topic, you could talk about the main idea of the movie like: "War, Poverty, Injustice, technology..." then you can talk about the situation in your country if it's like the movie shows it or not, or ask about the same sitatuation in their country.
Well when you noticed you'll be talking about some else than the main topic.
