"that" or "this"
Hello everyone!
I was wondering... when we can say "that" or "this" and what is the difference please ^^ ?

It works for space and for time as well: this (near) / that (somehow far)

I may be wrong but it is interestion to me to think over your question.
1) The word this plural these is used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc. that has just been mentioned or to something that has just happened: We must make sure this doesn't happen again.
2) The word that plural those is used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc. that has already been mentioned or is already known about: There are lots of thinks that I need to learn before the trip to Moscow.
