I agree with you John. I think sports are vital to our lives. Look at the Olympics, is there anything else in this world that can be so unifying? Sports cross cultures, religions, languages...of course they often produce some good fights too :) but competition drives us to growth and teaches us how to deal with the wins and losses of life.

I love sports... Actually I fight muay thai, and today it is my favorite sport, because the training is very hard!

I like to watch sports. But I am club-fan. Hence I want my team to win, and feel the excitement of winning. The great thing about sport is, you do not know the outcome. In the movie, the bad guy mostly loses. In sports, your team will not always win. It's the pure adrenaline. The testosteron and the wanting to win for me. It's really a men kind of thing I think.

It's not watching 'the beauty of sports'. I am interested in my home team Ajax, from Amsterdam. I am not even interested in the CL final, if my own team does not play in it. Socialize?? I am not interested in other people at the moment my club plays. I am here to watch my team, not to socialize! I once went to watch Ajax with a Scottisch friend. One minute before the end, he said he would go to avoid traffic. I said: 'Okay, see you tomorrow'. And continued to watch the game mesmerized. Although this was not very sociable, my Scottisch friend loved it. He recognized the fanatic fan in me.

Is it useful? Well, what is useful? No, it's probably not useful. I like it, and therefore it is useful. Nothing more, no off spring, no subsequent effort, just the game. 

I think Sport is great activities. You can meet new friends, when you playing sport your body got healthy and you get fun.
