Yes, so as Grant said, 'I did it' is the right way of saying - however don't worry about the tenses because 'I've done it' (shortened 'I have done it') is very commonly used :)

They do have different uses, which is confusing.

Referring to a table you could say 'I made it' - so building/painting/creating something. If you reached a destination (end of race, a meeting; finished a university degree, survived a challenge) then you could also say 'I made it!' too.

However someone could easily come up to you, point at the table and ask "did you do that?" and you could say "yes, I did that" (or yes, "I've done that"), meaning "did you 'create/make' that?". But the *difference* is that you would never say "I've done the table". You never put a noun after saying 'did/done/etc'. 

Likewise, if your friend said "I asked you to post the letter. Did you 'do' it?", you'd say "Yes I 'did' that" - not "Yes, I made that."

Well, these are different sentences. Unlike in many other languages, "to do" and "to make" are not usually synonymous; "do" is associated with actions, and "make" is associated with creations.

Further, the correct one here is "I made it", but the other sentence can ALSO be correct as long as it's written properly. The simple past form of "do" is not "done"; it is "did".

So the correct sentences would be "I did it" and "I made it". They're both correct, and they do not mean the same thing. If you wish to use "done", you'd have do write the first sentence as "I have done it".

In my opinon, I done it isn't correct form, it must be I have done it.

А в принципе, какая вам разница какую форму употреблять. Ведь главное смысл. 

Мы употребили прошедшее время. Для того чтобы твердо знать какое прещедшее время употребить надо знать весь контекст.
