Ah, I wish we had more borders. Especially those within the EU, I want them back!

This drean, dear Shahin, became true in the latter part of the 20th century in Europe with what became known as European Union. You can now literaly travel by car from southern Portugal or southern Spain to northern Denmark without being controlled, having crossed France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany (check out a map to Europe to visualize what long a distance it represents). Then, if you take a ferry, you can also reach Sweden or Lapland in northern Finland.

Of course, occasional customs controls may still occur but not necessarily on the borders since these have been virtually "erased".

You wish them back because all you seen are peoples come there only for drug use or things like that and it hurts your culture and gentry

but what i want is different when we clear up borders we don't welcome opportunists .

Every country has it's own rules and cultures that should be respected by others there is no doubt about it.

I think clearing up borders could avoid most wars and bring up stable peace to the world.

M_rk_s, you can see better because you live there. But when i had been in Amsterdam last summer i saw by my own eyes. I saw many people with shoals of grass in the street and bars. Maybe it was just unlucky day. I agree with you. When i left Amsterdam i saw beatiful country. Canals and mills impressed me.

hedji, it's very annoying that foreigners only think of drugs and the red light district when they hear the name of my home town, do not remind me.. It's no joke. Many people here no longer agree with that policy. No really, I do not think you remark is funny, sorry.
