There are some great Spanish sites that have articles with audio so that you can read/listen along.

 

Here are two that I use:

Does anyone know if anything similar exists in French?

TV5 Monde have a good, free site and you can select from a number of languages

Radio France Internationale may be useful too.

Thanks Stephen! Yes, I have, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a free resource with general interest articles at an intermediate+ level - preferably with audio.
