"Funny" = That TV show is funny. (It makes you laugh.)

"Fun" + It's fun to go to the beach. (It gives you much enjoyment.)

As a Londoner I'm bound to say London is the most beautiful and offers lots of fun :-) York and Bath are also noted for their beauty and I really like both of them. If you don't mind the cold and crowds then Cristmas is a good time to visit. If you prefer the summer then everywhere is busier from late July until the end of August. There are some beautiful villages worth visiting too.
