umm..I don't think anyone has that much time to waste.

If you enjoy doing something then who am I to talk down to you? I imagine learning a fictional language is probably harder than learning any world language - where would you find an exchange partner, for a start? :P

At some point all languages were made up. So if there are enough fans then they can gather and speak Elvish or Orc or Klingon together. How is that a waste of time? It's not something I would do personally as I don't particularly like these films or books.

Out of curiosity though, where would you find the study materials?
